It’s been a few days, that’s OK though as these are strange days. Going to a funeral tomorrow for someone very close to me; hard to do.
I don’t slap on the fake cheer, the falsehoods mean nothing. That doesn’t mean I’m suicidal or even depressed - yes I’m not depressed for once, go figure - this loss was on the cards for quite a while and has already been labeled and filed in my head.
Skipping the ‘normal’ show includes for the rest of the clan and I have a large clan. I seem to be related to 50% of the entire town of Sandbach. While those close to me have learned to cope with my general level of innocuous oddness the rest haven’t and will, yet again, be treated to another show. I’m not going to the religious nonsense that holds little to no meaning to me and doing things my way, the way they would have understood.
Another one down, some ten or so to go. Jingle jingle jingle.
