CHUD - Cinematic Happenings Under Development

When I get time, which means never, I need to go through this and list the good ones.

A film that leaps out on this list is ‘The Iron Giant’, great film, nice script and wonderfully drawn. Bombed utterly and no-one watched it. I guess it was too early, just a bit before everyone realised that Disney != Good.

I think it would have stood a chance now. Go see it.

Looking through that list, Ive actually seen most of them :|

If you havent seen Brotherhood of the Wolf [ I've got the french and english dvds :| ] then you’ve missed out on a great “kung-fu a-la musketeers meets slightly realistic fantasy”. Makes sense? no? Then see it.

Iron Giant was hailed by the graphics and animation community, but it flopped in the box office mainly due to the great [read: nonexistant] publicity it was given before being released. Warner Bros. ruined their own movie by simply refusing advertize - a shame considering it has one of the best stories to an animated film.

Rounders: Friday night theme movie, every friday, for the better part of 4 years. Incidentally Friday was poker night. Not much is better than winning a huge Hold ‘Em hand with KGB whining about oreos in the background ;)

Super Troopers: the funniest movie that noones ever seen [meiow]

Most of the ones there deserve to be seen more than once [and most have been ;)] - good list

Brotherhood of the Wolf is a good flick.

I will go through this and make a note of some of the films I haven’t seen from it. I’m a movie ‘fan’ but over half of these I haven’t watched; wierd, but I guess that’s the point of the list.
