The Powerbook I bought is the old model, it didn’t come with the iLife suite of applications. So today I rang Apple and checked model numbers and so on. Then rang the store and played hell with them. It seems like they ran out of the new ones so started selling the old ones and didn’t tell telling anyone; it’s impossible to tell from just looking at them.

Any company you deal with treats you like crap if they think they can get away with it. My Powerbook is going back for a refund on Saturday :(

So then I called Apple back, and they said they’d knock £100 off the cost of a powerbook direct from them. Nice considering they had nothing to do with me getting shafted by some 3rd party firm.

So as soon as I am sorted out with the refund I’ll get a Powerbook direct from Apple :)

I can’t tell you just how shit the stores are in the UK, they will screw you in any way possible, this country suck and blows.
