Made some phone calls today and sorted out my last large pre mini-me purchase - a Macintosh iBook.
14″ 1GHZ 60GB HDD + free extreme airport card. I think I might have liked the 12″ iBook but this one has the freebie airport, larger HDD and it’s faster by 200MHZ. 200MHZ is a lot on a Mac though it might not sound much to people used to PC MHZ. They are not the same.
I’ve been looking into getting a Mac for about a year and have slowly driven Mrs JD crazy with my constant Mac talk.
Do you recall Fry turning to Leela and going ‘Fix it, fix it, fix it. Fix it, fix it, fix it.’ She’s been through that. A lot.
Tomorrow I make the move away from Windows to the Macintosh, I’ll upload piccys of the whole thing.
