No clue why the urge to update had dissipated to the degree it had; but such is life at times. It’s not like writing is my life. Oh, wait …
So is a brief round up, what do we have that is comment worthy:
- DVD burner again proves it is worth its weight in GOLD by burning DVD’s. Okay it’s a dumb line but it is true. It’s not like it was going to go out and round up sheep or something.
- Subtitles as a text file are hard to get working when you burn a DVD
- Finding a spindle full of games on your desk that you had forgotten about is nice, running low on disk space after you install them all is not so nice
- Bought a new chair and it is fantastic. I can now write this in relative comfort
And happy happy, joy joy** we have booked a holiday. Yes the JD’s are going travelling, for only the third time in the nine years we have been together. The last two were long haul, Canada - the land of dreams - and America - the land of mugged, shot and left for dead dreams.
No more long haul thanks to mini-me so Italy it is.
* I apologise for the nature of this blog. It is so blog-like. I feel like linking to personality test things and using Japanese smilies. ^-^ Sorry, I should be flogged until dead, revived and flogged again until I wished I was dead. Now that’s a flogging.
** Started adding to the geek driven encyclopaedia that is wikipedia. I used it and found it good, so I gave something back and entered a load of information on ‘Ren & Stimpy.’
