Why hello there. I’ve been away travelling the country with Mrs JD, visiting relatives and finding new and interesting locations for her to throw up in.
Morning sickness, we were told, passes after 13 weeks. Allow me to pucture that little myth right now; it doesn’t. Various verges and flowerbeds around Wilkshire can testify to this.
The purpose of the journey was to gather baby stuff from my sister, clothing mainly, as she no longer needs it for her kids. Saves us a bundle which is good as we simply do not have a bundle to spend. I fear the purchase of the PowerBook may have been the straw that not only broke the camels back but crushed it into something resembling a pizza. With humps.
I’m intending to do change the way I spend time online and writing in this blog. I idle so much online and the time spent is not constructive. So the aim is less time wasting and more constructive use of that time. Tempted to read ‘Eat that Frog’ again.
What this means for my dear (and few) readers is 3 or so enteries a week that will have some thought put into them prior to pressing publish, unlike this meander. The rest of the enteries will be links from fark/slashdot/wired and so on.
So, less time idling on IRC and more doing useful stuff. The Internet is a time leech, growing fat just like we are sat in front of the PC.
