On Friday I scoot off for my first holiday in over two years, and my first ever beach holiday.
In a frightening move for all concerned I’m taking the powerbook and shall write up the whole adventure. From the horrendous flight (I REALLY hate flying) to wandering up an active volcano.
Really, how can I be expected to go a week without a computer? No chance. I’m just hoping the Itailians have WIFI hotspots so I can use the airport card and get online …

There’s no reason to hate flying.
If I were 6000 feet above the ground the one thing I would love more than anything else would be flying.
Falling, now thats a different matter.
