May 31st, 2004 · No Comments

Fahim over at weblogtoolscollection has released 1.2 of WP Blacklist. Good stuff for anyone that’s moved from MT.

MT to WP Oops

May 31st, 2004 · No Comments

When you move from MT to WP close your old comments. Via the MT Plug-in site, use CloseComments.zip to automatically do this.
This should kill off the MT spammers, now I need a WP anti-spam measure >_

I’ve been thinking, as I sit here plotting, who I write like. It’s not quite me yet, though I’m sure it will be given time.
Sci-Fi: Early William Gibson crossed with Michael Marshall Smith, with Isaac Asimov, the old school, looking over there shoulders; critiquing every idea and phrase that isn’t hard enough or filled with [...]

May 27th, 2004 · No Comments

From Slashdot:
Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin: (whispering) From our hiding spot behind this potted plant, we can get a good view of a geek trying to resist his instinct to update his computer. OSX is by default way more secure than any Windows OS, but check the following:
Is your firewall on?
How well is it configured?
The first [...]

The Adventures of Accordion Guy in the 21st Century :: Almost 30 years later, and I still don’t belong
Giggle, go odd Accordian guy, go. OK, so I’m not Canadian, but I’m trying to be.
This sounds like a good tagline to me, Canada: Yes it’s really that polite.
