Samurai Champloo - Hiphop Samurai anime, redefining the genre, utterly fantastic. A must see.
Samurai 7 - Based on Akira Kurasawa’s ‘Seven Samurai’, set in the far future. Samurai, mechs and aliens, only seen two episodes so far but it seems good stuff; but I’m bias as I love the original Seven Samurai movie.
So far I think non of these are licensed for UK distribution, you can get the fansubs online, just google.
