UK iTunes Store

June 15th, 2004 · No Comments

The UK iTunes store opens today, song downloads are 79 pence each, .99 euro - slightly more expensive than the same song in the USA for no reason that I can see. Apple is always overpriced in the UK.
Get iTunes to shop, should the desire take you.

Konfabulator!

Konfabulator!
This is like Samurise on Windows, but on Steroids. Plus it’s easy and works; which is unlike Samurise.
Usleless desktop toys >_< Screenshot is linked below, the information on the left is from Konfabulator, loads more widgets are available, something like 650 of them. If you’re on a Mac download a few and mess around.

Apple - AirPort Express

June 8th, 2004 · No Comments

Apple - AirPort Express
Hmm.
Buying Apple is like getting addicted to drugs, though the first hit is damned expensive.
Aiport Express sounds great, a mobile wifi/ethernet connection with analogue/digital speaker out sockets - works with Windows and Macs.
Apple is releasing some great audio gear, though after the PowerBook purchase I can’t a fford an iPod … yet.
Oh [...]

Korgo Virus

June 5th, 2004 · No Comments

If you are on Windows go download The MS Update countering the Korgo virus.

A day in the life of ….

June 5th, 2004 · No Comments

I don’t know if I’ve ever done just a slice of life, but then how interesting is another persons life. Unless they are doing something utterly unsual, the answer is not very interesting; a case in point:
We woke up late, after going to bed early, so not feeling bad I threw on a t-shirt and [...]

WordPress Plugins

June 1st, 2004 · 2 Comments

I’ve spent ages today playing with plugins. Most I never got working but a few coughed and spluttered into life, mostly though hacking them to bits. Not easy for me, I’m no programmer and my WP/PHP CPR is awful.
The last one I’ve dealt with is Amazon media from Denyerec. A really good and clever plugin [...]
