This evening I’ve read about half of Bill Clinton’s My Life, his autobiography. He’s covered his early life, such as his mothers repeat beatings, and his initial political career. The awful 30 minute speech that nearly killed his career, only to make it as he sent himself up on the Carson show.
Whitewatergate has been glossed over, as have the two accusations of adultery so far. Although this is utterly bias, after all it is his story, it is a good read so far. Just reached the Oklahoma bombing …
Clinton was a damn good President, and very strong economist. He openly ridicules the Republican belief in trickle down, the sad thing is Bush embraced it all over again. I think this years presidential race will be close, Bush may even lose it.
