Of course Moore was booed, did anyone NOT expect that to happen? Moore was there to report on the conference for the USA Today. He didn’t attract attention, he was lambasted in a speech and the crowd turned to him chanting ‘Four more years!’ for Bush.

I mentioned gMail notification programs the other day, the best I’ve come across for OS X is gCount from www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~natan/gcount/
It sits up by your clock, works, looks good and I have zero complaints about it.

Decided to rebuild my PowerBook today, a periodic defluff of the hard disk. This is only the second time I’ve rebuilt OS X from scratch so I had to do a little research.
I googled for ‘What to back up on OS X’ and various similar phrases and found very little that -
