Plugins IIa

August 21st, 2004 · No Comments

I’ve also added the prerender plugin from the wiki, the page text will display a lot faster for low bandwidth readers now, it makes up a little to them as I’ve been adding a lot of graphics recently.
Let me know if this helps.

Plugins II

August 21st, 2004 · No Comments

Tried the Dropcap plugin, then removed it again. It just didn’t suite my design without using images for the inital capital. It would have meant more images - increased loading time - without a large enough gain. Nice plugin though, the dropped initial capital is standard in both old books and modern lifestyle magazines, such [...]

Plugins

Yet more work behind the scenes, I’m adding some WordPress Plugins so expect some strange site behaviour. Like zebras and spacehoppers, nothing working and screens of code. Sorry but I apply changes to the live site to see what happens, it’s a direct approach and slightly insane. Pretend this is 60’s Star Trek and it [...]

Russia reports finding alien ‘wreckage’ - (United Press International)
Umm, OK. Guess we’ll see what comes of this, my guess is, of course, nothing.
The interest lies in how bad the media is in Russia and how poor Western media covers Russian news. Also on Ananova:
Russian scientists claim to have discovered the wreck of an alien craft [...]

Salesmen Foiled! Pictures at 11.

August 13th, 2004 · No Comments

I was working from home today, during the early afternoon there was a knock at the door. I troll downstairs, down the hallway, unlock the door, and find a large weird looking guy with a clipboard stood on the doorstop.
“Do you have pets? You know, a cat or a dog?” he asks. I’m stood next [...]

I’ve done some background work on the site, the first time in a long while. I assure you it’s as much as shock to me as you. I’ve added some CSS code and revised the Amazon Script so that it pulls not only the last four books, but the last four DVDs and CDs as [...]

Christ Centered Game Reviews | Articles
Now this is odd stuff. Some random website deciding what they give Christian approval to.
OK so I’m not traditionally religious in any way but it strikes me that anyone who was truly religious, I mean really no pretence and just following someone else doctrine, they wouldn’t care less about Doom [...]
