Pre 1938 Popeye is probably my favorite strip, and some of the best cartoons ever made. Though ignore anything popeye post 1940.
This little movie from Camp Choas catches some of the original spirit and is fun, go see.
I’ve been wanting to do a re-invention of the old Popeye for ages, got half a script roaming my head. Perhaps it is time I did something about it.
