To use error pages in Firefox, like Internet Explorer, instead of error dialogs, that require you to press OK every time:
Enter ‘about:config’ in Firefox, change ‘browser.xul.error_pages.enabled’ to ‘true’ by double clicking.
This way, you won’t get a dialog every time an inactive tab fails to load.
