People have asked me a lot of questions about the MacMini. The number one question they ask is: Can I upgrade it? My assumed answer has always been the memory will be upgradable, nothing else.
That’s inaccurate, you can upgrade the hard disk too. Apple states that as long as you don’t break the Mini when you open it the warrenty is still OK.
The video shows how to open the case with a putty knife, anything similar will do. Just slide the knife carefully down into the gap at the sides of the case and the Mini sucker pops open.

You can also add the Bluetooth and Airport modules yourself. You can also upgrade it with outboard peripherals — firewire/USB hard drives, DVD-burners, and so forth.

True. I think the Mac mini is a winner, it will capture those that want to try a Mac after there iPod and the low end Mac buyers.
