This is a new form of SPAM that has been increasing across all blogs just recently. As I’m having a technical day and making a few changes I thought I’d learn more about it and stop it from happening on CR again – I’ve had about 30-40 trackback SPAMs so far.
Over at http://mtdewvirus.com there are two plugins that force all trackbacks and pingbacks into the moderation queue. This is the best plugin solution I’ve come across right now and I reccomend all WP users download the plugins and activate them.
