All of my book reviews died during the server move, they were in my Amazon plugin.

As that plugin isn’t 1.5 friendly, hell it wasn’t 1.2 friendly either come to think about it, I’ll use this category to jabber on about whatever I’m reading, just finished or about to start.

I’ve not been reading as much as I used to, this site, writing and my work have all cut into my time. The largest reason, of course, is my baby girl. Even during the few silent moments to her a book is something to chew - but then so is everything. Sometimes it surprises the cats - mmm cat ear … CHOMP.

We’ve three large floor to ceiling bookcases in our living room, we have a lot of books, my baby girl will sit happily staring at these bookcases. It must be the variety of colours and shapes on the shelves. She loves to look at books, and then chew them. As Bill Hicks said, albeit totally out of context, ‘Well, we’ve got ourselves a reader.’ Though nothing competes with her highland cow toy for sheer joy.

We got it at Chester Zoo on our recent trip, of all the toys in the shop she would go for, a huge shaggy highland cow plushy. She laughed continuously at it so we had to buy it for her, even now she laughs whenever we let her have it. A strange choice to say the least.

I’ve just finished some Russian detective novel, and started a Merideth Gentry by Laurell k Hamilton. Details to come.
