I know it doesn’t look like it but I’m starting to get everything into shape. Some of my plugins are back in and the site isn’t so evil on the eyes right now - though it requires a lot of changes in looks.
Lots more work to do but I’m about to go out and poke some red squirrels. So it will have to be later.
Edit: I need to re-do the banners, the sizes and layout, and also the page setup. A text menu would be nice too.

RSS allows a fast text only pull of a site. So for example on CR I pull the latest BBC news, and the most popular Digg and Delicious links; those are 2 link sites that give a quick overview of what is popular on the intar-ner-web.
Shockingly, CR is also available on RSS - http://www.creationrobot.com/wp-rss2.php
To take full advantage of RSS feeds get an RSS reader such as http://www.feedreader.com/ (Windows) or http://www.thinkmac.co.uk/newsmac/ (OS X)
