I know CR is slow as hell sometimes, sorry about that.

I’m in talks with my host, if required I’ll change hosts to a company that can cope with CR.

Currently I’m considering a move to infinology. Nope, scratch that, they require you to speak to them or fax them. Fine if you are American, not so good from the UK. I can’t be bothered with that, I want to pay and have things set up, not have the company demand I identify myself. They just lost an order.

Anyone have suggestions for a WordPress friendly host?

This might mean CR will vanish for up to 48 hours as the domain transfers, but I guess we’ll see.

I’ll post a warning if I do change hosts. It will scare me to death as I would have to dump the MySQL DB and recreate everything on the new server…

That website is rubbish though gareth, it gives no indication that they are a real host – such as specs on bandwidth/disk/php/zend/support.

Yes, in theory. I’ve taken backups this evening and checked the dump. It contains everything (aside from this post) so it should restore OK. BTW, why didn’t you IM me you muppet :P
