Konichiwa, had a number of strange days in a row. Work hassle, which I seem to get constantly, followed by home hassle. Looks like I’m keeping my job at the moment, and I don’t have to take them to court. That’s a long story in itself and cannot be gone into. Bloggers who go into work details tend to find themselves unemployed pretty quickly. All I’m doing with this job now is hanging on in there until we move to Canada. Not slept for a few nights during this week, probably due to work hassle as much as anything but I’ve always been a poor sleeper. When I did finally sleep I had a dream where one of my dead Nans visted me, acknowledging I was a father now and how proud she was; such a shame she never got to see my daughter while she was still here. I never get dreams like that, was very freaky. Having spoken to a few people who have had similar dreams it seems these meeting always happen at inbetween places, not somewhere familiar. Like on a pavement (side walk), or a carpark, somewhere open and unfamiliar anyway. Odd. The day after the dream one of the cats, the largest that weighs almost 2 stone – he’s a Maine Coon – fell and landed on our baby daughter. I received a phone call as I was driving home from my wife saying she’d called an ambulance as she was throwing up and screaming. Luckily my wife had placed a thick blanket over her a few seconds before the cat fell, it prevented most of the damage from claws. It turned out she was fine, just surprise, a few small cuts and a little soreness. The cat hid for the next two days until he was convinced no-one was blaming him. He now doesn’t even complain if she tries to pull his ear off. I’ve just finished American Gods by Neil Gamen, need to add that to my book list. Also added a Japanese language course to my iPod, I’ll see if it helps me pick up more words, I recognise a few but not enough. Generally, this has been one of those weeks that you are glad to see the back of.
