Really busy week in work, trying to finish up a project. It will be all over the news next week so I hope we get it right.
Out baby daughter Robyn seems to be allergic to dairy products, talk about making life hard. Whenever she has anything with milk in she goes red around her mouth and suffers from wind, which means she doesn’t sleep, which means we don’t sleep.
I’ve been running off pure caffiene this week, little sleep and lots of work.
My G4 PowerBook off a full charge now comes up with 1:24 for the battery life. It used to say over 2:20. The battery seems to have lost its ability to charge pretty quick. Roll on fuel cell batteries. Are the newer PowerBook batteries better? This one is only a year old.

I have owned several notebooks over my life and I have to say, that nothing goes through batteries like computers. I’m not sure what it is, but they just go bad. My current notebook, a Dell, used to last a couple of hours. Now it get maybe 45 minutes. I’ve heard that Macs don’t fair much better. If you find out some secret to making them last over the long haul, let me know.

The newer pb’s do have better batteries. Are making sure to cycle your battery? When I started losing battery life I started using my pb without the ac plugged in. I only plugged it in when the battery was ready to quit. That got the cells flowing again. Try that out. Use your powerbook like the portable that it is.

I’ll try it out, thanks. If I can’t get a decent level of charge out of the thing I can see myself buying another battery…
