I dislike company websites that mislead. ‘3-4 days delivery’ the company exclaimed, this is a week later.
So I call them up and they say: ‘Oh yes, it isn’t a PC, so it needs to be ordered.’
‘Your website said it was in stock.’ I reply, knowing where this is going and after the morning I’ve already had no heart for a fight.
‘In stock for our suppliers, yes.’ That is stretching the definition of in stock.
‘When can I expect it?’
‘We’ll get it from out suppliers Monday or Tuesday.’ Which doesn’t answer me, so;
‘When can I expect it?’
‘Late next week.’
Almost 2 weeks after placing the order. Sigh. So anything with there suppliers takes more than 3-4 days. You expect to wait days when ordering online, but I also expect a company to stick to what it says. Foolish me.
So in my experience and opinion avoid ordering from EuroPC in Glasgow.
Edit: 20 minutes after talking to EuroPC about my order a courier van pulls up with my order. Although this is good, least I have what I paid for, it does mean that EuroPC wasn’t giving me accurate information when I spoke to them.
They were at best incompetent, at worst they outright lie to customers regarding orders. You decide which.

I had exactly the same experience with Pixmania. On site it says in stock for 2-3 day delivery. The next day i get told 6-8 days. I email a complaint - the reply says its been despatched. Work that out.

I’m guessing that the communication in these companies is just so bad that no-one really knows what’s happening.
