I’ve done a minor redesign of the site. I’ve changed the site to a ‘link content driven’ format (buzzwords are evil) that allows for Google’s AdSense to actually be relevant to the post that people are reading. So to get the click-through less is on the front page, and direct links to content are provided.
Try clicking a few of the headings in the new ‘Most Recent Posts’ section to the left, the Ads may make sense now. My last venture in AdSense was a pointless waste of time. I wonder if this will be any better, going from my experience and others, I doubt it.
I’d love CR to break even. OK it isn’t the most expensive of hobbies but it’s not free either.
If CR paid for itself the world would be that little bit nicer, and less kittens would die.

Hope adsense works for you. I have not seen any success with it. As for the kittens, I see your point.

Just think of the … oh you already are. Right then.
I doubt AdSense will work for me this time either - I only know one person that has had any success with adverts on a site - and that was short lived. Every other success story I’ve heard is from random sites.
