We’ve both taken this week off work so that we can do up the house ready for putting it on the market. We live in a 3-storey home, the top of the stairwell has a pretty long drop to it so that’s the area hardest to complete, so it’s where we started.

We’ve managed to complete the hardest bits today, while my parent had the joy(!) of babysitting Robyn. Giggle. After this we did half the main bedroom before running out of paint. Had to drink pints of water while doing the climbing/painting as temperatures here hit an insane 31.5 degrees. It just doesn’t do that here, people and homes aren’t equipped to deal with it. No homes in the UK have air conditioning.

Tommorrow is supposed to be another hot day, think I’ll do some outside jobs instead of swealtering inside. Power hose some ants, or flies.
