What a week …

I’m tired beyond belief. We both took this week off work to do up the house, we live in a three floor townhouse so painting it is a chore. Needed to be done though. The main bedroom, all three halls and right up the stairs has been done this week. Along with side jobs like platerwork, shelving and so on. Aside from the ceiling of one hallway and the lounge we’re done.

So a couple of inside jobs still to do, then we move on the the garden, then the garage. After all that the house goes up for sale. Eek.

We’ve another mouse, thanks to my insane killer death cat who decided to bring his snack home alive for later. The mouse, clearly one of the brighter of its species, ran under the kitchen cabinets and hasn’t been seen since. Damn it, we cant flatten the cats and slide them under the cabinets. We tried. For over a week now this mouse has taunted the cats from an area they can’t get into. So we’ve resorted to man made anti-mouse efforts and a 100% bleach scrub of the kitchen.

All of this only added to the tirdness accumulated throughout the week, and reading 150 pages of Harry Potter after midnight wasn’t the best move ever.

Though I’m enjoying it so far.
