My wife got up to deal with Robyn, our ten month old daughter, at the ungodly hour of six in the morning. This is when Robyn likes to get up and insists that everyone else also gets up.
Today I had a bit of a lie in, not that I could get any sleep but still. After the rounds of washing, changing, dressing and so on, my wife tells Robyn ‘Lets go see daddy.’ Sure enough a moment later I see her carry Robyn into the room. I’m lying in bed, without glasses and everything below my nose level covered up and still Robyn yells ‘Eh Daddy!’ and as her favourite cat Billy was also on the bed she then yelled ‘Cat! Cat!’. No bad for a 10 month old.
She’s not walking, and she has the strangest method of crawling you could imagine; but you can’t critique her vocab. She’s as bright as a button, which is great and terrifying, imagine the arguments when she’s a teenager.
