And the novel plods on

Deleted 1000 words today, and added just over 3000. I’m approaching 18,000 words (17,300 in fact, not really 18k yet), and the goal is somewhere between 60-80,000 words - ideally towards the top end of that. For comparisons sake, HP1 was 77k, HP2 was 85k. I don’t think you can really do a thinner book than HP1.

Today was the first time in a month and a a bit that I’ve had a full clear day to just sit down and write, I’ve got that opportunity tomorrow as well so I’m hoping for at least another 3000 words.

I wish I had more free time, at 3k words a day a novel wouldn’t take so long. I know I’ll never complete this by the end of September, the original goal, so I’m hoping that I’m going to manage to finish it this year.
