We landed yesterday, completly whacked out by jetlag.
The flight back landed forty minutes early, a reversal of fortunes given the delays we had on the way over to Canada.
There will be a few more Canada posts as I regain sanity just to clear up the last days events, if I don’t write things down I forget them. After that CR will return to business as usual.
Driving in the UK was a bit strange after the regimented grids of Canada, the utter randomness of UK roads is both frustraiting and refreshing.
Two things struck us after we had landed in Manchester. Not in the literal sense, this blog isn’t hated enough that a queue of naysayers were throwing eggs. Probably.
– Manchaster airport is utterly third world and requires a complete rebuild
– English people, at least those in Manchester, are REALLY rude and impolite compared to West Cost Canadians
Today I should have gone to work, but didn’t. I decided that I was not going to manage anything productive and I’ve have been dangerous driving, more so than normal; My car is 3000 miles over its 60K service and has two bald tyres. I really must sort that out at some point.
