Today I went and talked to the Vancouver HR dept. at the global firm I work for, networking is everything. I can’t really reveal much about that. The woman I spoke to gave me some interesting ideas regarding areas of Canada — we’re looking into those now and will be for a while.
After the meeting I went into Chapters, a huge bookstore on the edge of Gastown, and bought another Charles De Lint book, Tapping the Dream Tree. It’s a lousy title but it is short stories revolving around his Newford charecters, the Crow Girls and so on, so it should be a great read. Finished “Wolf Moon” today, an early De Lint book; you can tell.
In the afternoon we drove through Kits (AGAIN) and out to UBC Museum of Anthropology. Some great woodwork and paintings in there, well reccomended. Tomorrow is my daughters first birthday and we’re taking her to the Aquirium — should be fun.
