My daughters first birthday! Woo, happy birthday girl.
Went to Vancouver aquarium, this weekend is ‘thanksgiving weekend’ — whatever the hell that is — and I guess people had knocked off work on the Thursday in a lot of cases as the aquarium was heaving with people.
Canada hates babies or disabled people. Fact. Everywhere is hard to get to with a pram, ramps or elevators are cunningly hidden away. This made the aquarium hard to navigate, and that was after we’d spent two hours walking through Stanley Park to get there. We took a shorter route home but it still took an hour. Another day where we ended up walking for about five hours. Despite the junk I’m eating here I’, going to end up fitter when I go back to the UK.
Talked a lot about goals and why we want to shift to Canada with my wife this evening, if we can do it we want to move out here, the job situation is the hard part. If I can get a job sorted out I’d do it. We have three years before we have to be living here full time, I don’t want it to take that long though.
