Huge First Industry Sewers

This may be news to some but not anyone from the UK, and probably France/Germany. England was the first industrialised nation, the first for factories and so on; in other words the first modern nation. This brought a lot of problems, not least of which was keeping people alive when they are grouped closely together in massive numbers. Sewers were one of the requirements.
