I’ve not tried this yet but the idea sounds sane.
Apple evolves its GUI all the time, something Windows users only get with hacks or whole new releases of Windows.
Not that the either approach is better than the other.
At least with Apple the GUI is constantly evolving, getting better, always staying on the cutting edge of OS design. This makes the GUI inconsistant.
At least with Windows the GUI is consistant and your apps all look alike — to a degree.
So if you want to have a modern GUI on OSX and have it be consistant try Uno, [gui.interacto.net/index.php]

consistent is the correct spelling.
