One of Charles De Lints early books, you can tell as well. It’s short and small in scope. It’s the start of his ongoing ‘feature the outsider as the main character’ trait — a werewolf is hunted by a bard, only the werewolf is the goodguy.
This is lightweight with some character annoyances, De Lint fans only.
