Almost sorted out for Christmas now, I’ve still got a few things to do though. I’m printing a couple of cards out right now for relatives, they have a really cute picture of my daughter on them. We’ve sent a mixture of printed and bought cards this year. Oh damn, I’ve also got to send some mince pies to a friend in Germany - yes too late to arrive by Christmas now but still. I’ve been putting that off for days, I need to get to it.

We’re overdrawn at the bank, and we have to go visit relatives, yay Christmas. I have no desire at all to go and visit my sister but as we’ve not been to see her and her family all year then we’re going to have to go. My parents have been pressurising me to go visit them, uneeded hassle. A four and a half hour drive to visit someone you don’t get on with. Great. Also the in-laws have a dog, and I’m allergic to dogs, any visit there is a torment and this year we’re spending two nights there. Yay.

Even though that’s pretty much all bad, I do love Christmas, believe it or not. Even the overdose of commercialism can’t kill what has always been my favourite holiday. Come on weather, snow already. Now I really must go and wrap that stuff to send to Germany.
