I ran across a quote today that I adore and fits me like the proverbial glove, from the ever quotable Sir Winston Churchill:

Personally I’m always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.

I love to learn and pick up random stuff like a drunk in a gutter, however I’m a pain to teach just like the aformentioned drunk. From primary school up I’ve always been the same, formal education did nothing but f*ck me up and spit me, slightly chewed and worse for wear, onto the employed heap.

I’m not a bad teacher though, I’ve even done formal teaching, running College courses for adult students.

I hate to tell you this, as you’ve managed to struggle through my writing to this late stage, I’m not actually going anywhere with this. Like life, sometimes a blog post just has no point.
