Live coverage of Google Keynote with Robin Williams

January 7th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Google didn’t announce a PC, or an OS, or indeed anything much of interest. The only interesting thing was Robin Williams. Check Engadgets coverage.

pack.google.com is an addon pack for Windows. I DON’T reccomend it. Not from the Google is spying on j00, OH NOES perspective. Although that is one possible reason.

The pack includes Norton antivirus, something to be avoided like the plague. Norton products are bad for your PC and clutter the registry with dross. They only partially uninstall too. My professional experience with Norton is all bad.

The video of the keynote is not on google video yet.

Yeah that coverage of Robin Williams is great, I wished they had taped it. I’d love to see it.
