Minor Site Updates

February 12th, 2006 · 2 Comments

You may have noticed some recent changes here at CR.

For a start the sites moved to a new theme, called Internet-jobs [www.gfxedit.com/themes/wordpress/internet-jobs-wordpress-theme.html]. No, really, that’s its name. It meets my site criteria of White and easy to read, although the text is cramped so I want to address that at some point. I’ve been theme shopping for a while as my old theme, Rin [www.brokenkode.com/rin], wouldn’t play nice with IE. The hated IE. The dreaded IE. IE, the eater of CSS. The Internet-jobs (giggle) theme plays nice with IE.

The archives have changed too, they now work. Shocking. They have mutated into Super Archives [www.jonas.rabbe.com/archives/2005/05/08/super-archives-plugin-for-wordpress/], not really so super and more of a long list. However in its favour it works, unlike any archive plugin I tried. Even narchives failed me, I guess they hate WordPress 2.x.

You can also now subscribe to comments, lord alone knows why anyone would want to do this at the comment runs on CR tend to be pretty short, but the option is there. The other updated plugin is technorati integration, which you can now find at the end of each post.

Any issues or suggestions, as long as they are blog related, leave a message.
