Windows Vista warns you it is running slow due to Windows Vista

Gizmodo wins the funniest post of the day award with this gem:

Vista Error

I’m sure Microsoft will fix this before its release. Won’t they. Maybe. You think? Ah.

welcome the new feature in Vista that points out which programs are slowing down one’s computer, we kinda sorta wish the programs in question weren’t the ones that make it run

dear friend, vista requires 2 gigs of ram because it sells itself to fat chicks; that may have quite a bit to do with it.

I installed the latest windows vista ultimate recently and found that it is running super slow. Start up time is around 5 to 7 minutes, without it reporting a problem.
    The computer is a :
    Pentium D 930
    3.0ghz dual core
    1gb ddr2 samsung ram
    160g sata2 drive
    msi rc410m mainboard
saphire radeon x550a pci express card
    lg super multi dvd-rw

What can possibly be the reason?
