Credit Cards go Virtual Offering Rewards in MMORGs Like WoW

Good news for gamers, maybe, possibly, OK it isn’t really.

Personally I’ve never got anything significant back from ANY store or card reward scheme.

I can’t see the point in them, other than they allow the stores to track everything you put on there card. Targeted adverts, just for you.

A few pennies back here and there, like it makes a difference. For gamers to get into virtual rewards I hope the rewards are more significant than the real life ones.

Phillip Torrone blogs about the future of credit cards on the MAKE blog featuring yours truly on the World of Warcraft card. ;-) He writes about the interaction of credit cards, real money and virtual game money.
