Wii will have the Opera web-browser built in, it will save to either onboard memory (512) or SD cards (which are cheap, even in 1GB versions). It also has built in wireless, bluetooth and the console will trickle download new content and updates, even when on standby.
The main controller is the Wiimote, it looks like a TV remote. Alongside this is the attachable nunchuck joystick for FPS titles and the Classic controller for NES, SNES, N64 GC, Sega and PC Engine games. Also released is a lightgun, it’s a case with a trigger and joystick that slips over the Wiimote to make a gun.

It’s also the only console that my 18mo daughter can shout without practising.
Duck Hunt 2 has been announced, a sequal to the first game on the NES, way back in 1984 (IIRC).
The Wiimote has speakers and vibration, the nunchuck addon has tilt sensitivity. The retro controller is based on the SNES controller, the two joysticks look to be very low on the controller, are they comfy to use? Otherwise plug in your old Wavebird or Gamecube controllers - both work.
Sony apparently freaked about the Wiimote and dropped the PS3 boomerang controller, added tilt sensitivity to the PS2 controller, added one button and called it the PS3 controller. Well done Sony.
