Cracking WEP and WPA Wireless Networks
This is a good one, let me tell you! There can be so many issues setting up your box to actually get the tools working and i’m not even touching on that, but if you can get everything to work, you’ll be cracking wireless networks like a pro in no time.
Disclaimer: I’m not a pro.
Disclaimer: I am a pro. Security is my day job gig but I like this little guide on PEN testing. It’s pretty succinct and to the point. I’m not a dedicated security techie, I’m more on the consultancy, advice and management side.
Both WEP and WPA are insecure at present, you are really using them at your own risk.

I use it at home, but it is not secure and can be cracked.
It is not approved for secure environments – such as in the government for this reason (UK HO Directive).

Reading that page, WPA actually still sounds pretty secure if you have a good (long, non-dictionary) password.
