OK we’re just about up and running again, aside from the Archives. That’s a job for tomorrow.

Started on the fix using my test install, will update here when I have everything corrected.

I’ve been using Cyberduck FTP for ages now, recently the current version messed up (in tandem with my host) and I lost my theme, so I had to go back to an older backup of that theme and rebuild it back to how I had it.

I just got that finished and was happy.

Now it’s done it again. I’d got everything running great so decided to backup my theme, grabbed the folder in Cyberduck and dragged and dropped it to my desktop. The beachball stared at me for a while, then I got the IO time out message. I clicked past it and my theme directory had gone. The entire directory, all files, gone. WTF, I was doing a copy not a move or a delete. How did it manage that?

Yep the damned Cyberduck has lost my theme again. I need a new free FTP client for OS X … it’s that or I move to Transmit.

I’ve the old backup running right now so I’m sure some of the site is not working. I can’t repair it right now as I don’t have the time. Please cope as best you can until I get some spare time, probably tomorrow night.
