Packaging porn: Taking delight in the unpackaging of gadgets. Usually documented in explicit box photographs.

This has been a staple in the Mac world for a long time as Apple has been packaging things with panache and a certain elegance for years. A Flickr search shows a raft of Mac unpackaging, packing spreadeagled around the new Mac, erotically documented in the finest detail.

I’ve taken shots of packaging myself when I got my 12 inch PowerBook, 15 inch PowerBook and iPod.

You no longer have to do Flickr searches as the latest and greatest products will be unpacked on unboxing.com. Not just Macs but all sorts of gadgets.
