The release date is Q1 2007 just after March, the financial year. This gives us April/May 2007. Damn, almost a whole year away.
The creatures can look pretty different, of the ones seen these are my favourites:

- There will be 6 different stages of gameplay: Cellular, Creature, Tribal, City, Civilization & Space
- At each stage of gameplay there will be a different editor unlocked
- After you’ve “beaten†the game you will have the ability to come back into any of the editors/stages and keep playing with them
- In order to evolve your creature, you will need to build up “DNA Points†(not a final name) in order to mate, and eventually evolve your creature. You can earn DNA Points by eating, and not getting hurt.
- When you evolve your creature, you will not start off as a full-grown adult. Instead you will start off as a baby

We’ll see — we all know Will Wright and release date times. I don’t think Spore will by any different.
