This is a quite a long deleted scene from the original Star Wars 1977 release. Some of it has sound and is in colour, some is B/W and silent. It shows Luke and Biggs on Tantooine right after the capture of Liea – Luke sees the end of the battle at the start of the clip. I think it adds quite a lot to Luke as he’s less two dimentional after this and Death Star battle means more as you know Biggs and Luke are close.
Empire Strikes Back has a deleted scene between Biggs and Luke as well, it’s during the Hoth sequence just prior to the evacuation.
What’s with the Biggs/Luke hate Lucas?
