Sweet sweet Firefox extension that takes those streaming video sites and shows them what for. Camino, how you let me down so. Firefox only.

Tags: creationrobotVideoDownloader is a slick Firefox extension that allows you to save content from websites, including embedded videos at sites like YouTube. The extension adds a small icon to Firefox’s status bar that, when clicked, offers a pop-up window with a download link of the actual file you want.

It’s awesome for sure. I use it along with Google Video and YouTube then convert the flash video files into a more convenient format.

raulito thanks, but I don’t think it is better. For a start it seems to be Windows only, which is pointless for me and all the other Mac and Linux users.
The firefox plugin works from directly within the browser, what could be better.
Linking directly to an exe is frightening, I’ve removed the direct links.
