Auto home folder to iPod Backup

June 7th, 2006 · No Comments

What a neat little backup app, very handy for a fast home folder to iPod backup.

As a side note, I’ve finally sorted out my backup routine.

HFS+ formatted partitions on two seperate external USB devices containing AES 128 bit encrypted sparse images taken on the first of each months. It would take the failure of 3 drives to kill my data, or one physical disaster such as a fire. Hmm, time I took a set of backup DVDs to my parents.

If I add this app to my routine then it would take four failures and would seperate my data as my iPod would be with me and not my other disks. That seals the deal.
