Wow, freaky co-incidence. Yesterday I wrote about how bad it was to read and write in the Internet on Mondays as its the day of Internet death. Today I saw something on LifeHacker that pointed me to this piece on what to do on days when nothing new is happening on the net.
OK so the article offers nothing particularly new or clever but it’s nice to know others are seeing this and it’s not just me. It’s either that or myself and Andy are equally nuts - lets hope not for Andy’s sake, I wouldn’t wish my level of nuts on anyone.
What you can do about it depends on how much time you have and your level of creativity; that doesn’t interest me so much as the root cause of these dips. I still think it is to do with the big sites going commercial which leads to a major content dip Saturday through Monday.

Slow news days can cause negative thoughts:
* Is my niche area drying up?
* Have I missed some big news story that everyone else has?
* Have my news sources cut their supply? There are various responses to a slow news day, and what action you take depends upon your blog, your temperament, your readership, and the time you have.
