This is a long standing debate in casa JD, my wife doesn’t believe in physics. ‘It’s all magic.’ she says. It’s not that she’s dim, my wife is one of the brightest sparks I know with a degree in counselling. She’s just chosen to reject physics.

Acceleration? Nope.
Inertia? Nope.
Gravity? Yes … ish.

Who invented the theory of gravity? Newton or William Tell? Apparently William Tell. ‘Well it’s all rubbish,’ she said, ‘the way they shot that arrow.’ Would you look at the arc of that arrow?! After she said it she looked at me and we broke out in hysterical laughter.
